In 2024, the Angler's Hotel made the decision to switch to 100% renewable electricity.

• Purchase of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) covering the hotel's entire annual consumption
• Green-e Energy certified RECs, supporting wind and solar energy production

As part of our commitment to protecting Miami Beach's marine and coastal environment:

• Exclusive use of sugarcane straws, no plastic
• Filtered water program with reusable glass bottles in guest rooms
• Significant reduction in single-use plastic waste

Thanks to our partnership with Clean the World, leftover soap is recycled and transformed into hygiene kits distributed to disadvantaged communities and areas affected by natural disasters.

• 95% of the hotel's lighting is provided by energy-efficient LED bulbs
• Installation of energy-efficient air conditioning and heating systems throughout the establishment
   

In all bathrooms, we use products (shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel) in refillable containers, thereby reducing the use of individual plastic bottles.

• Recycling of paper, plastic, glass, cardboard, pallets, and various materials
• Recycling bins available in rooms
• Program for collecting and recycling used cooking oil, which is reused to produce renewable fuels

We prioritize short supply chains and local partners:

• Fresh produce supplied exclusively by Mr. Greens, Florida's leading local distributor
• Coffee La Colombe, a coffee roaster renowned for its ethical and responsible approach
• Mostly working with small local businesses, reducing transportation-related emissions

All taps, showers, and toilets in the hotel are equipped with low-flow systems, reducing water consumption without compromising on comfort.
